Jalapeño Cheddar Burgers

We have these weekly because they are so dang good.

A few tips:

🍔 Get yourself a box of disposable gloves. They are a game changer in the kitchen. I use them for any raw meat recipes, but they are also amazing for baking! This recipe calls for jalapeño and the oil will stay on your fingers. Gloves work amazingly!

🍔 You can prep your meat ahead of time as long as you seal it. I like to do it the morning of and then it’s easy to grab and cook at dinner time!

You will need:

1 lb ground beef
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese split in half
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 jalapeño pepper diced
salt/pepper to taste

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl (reserve 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar for the top of the burgers at the very end. Mix with hands until all ingredients are combined and then divide into 4 equal burgers. Spray your frying pan with a little bit of nonstick spray and cook on medium until burgers are done to your liking. For me, 5-6 minutes on each side does the trick! When burgers are cooked, divide your remaining cheddar cheese and top each burger. When melted, dress a bun (we love brioche) with a handful of mixed greens and ENJOY!
